3 Reasons why I started drinking Matcha and you should too.

It’s been 5 years since I first tried this drink and I haven’t stopped drinking it since. Why? I have many reasons, but I don’t plan this to be the only post about it. Having said this, here are 3 reasons why I drink it and why you should also include it in your life.

1. Strengthens the immune system

Matcha has a high antioxidant content that will provide many benefits internally and externally. I’m not saying it’s a magic formula, but I can tell you that since I included matcha in my diet I have felt a significant improvement in my immune system. This has been accompanied by better eating habits, but matcha was my first step into this previously unknown world.

2. Reduces Stress

Its L-theanine content favors concentration and helps to combat stress and anxiety. It also stimulates attention span and alertness. In my personal case, Matcha tea is included in my ‘ideal’ day routine, which has made me associate it with my mental clearing moments merely by building a habit around it.

3. Digestive Health

Matcha tea can help treat common gastrointestinal complaints by stimulating excretion and helping your body purge toxins. As a person who has suffered a lot from gastrointestinal problems, I can say that Matcha has helped me a lot. At the beginning you will not like it very much because you will have to go to the bathroom very quickly, but later you will see that you have more energy, your stomach problems are decreasing and you have a better metabolism.

These are 3 of my main reasons. However, I advise you that if you are going to start drinking it, do not do it on an empty stomach. Always try to drink it after meals.
